Abstract

In view of the fact that the fit of the Gamma Probability Model to monthly rainfall is good, the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th deciles of the gamma distribution, fitted to monthly rainfall at 77 raingauge stations in Karnataka during the southwest monsoon season, have been computed and tabulated. These can be used by user-interests for obtaining the rainfall probabilities that may be required. -Authors
